Nvidia Reverses Course, DLSS 5 Coming to RTX 40 Series

Nvidia has confirmed that its DLSS 5 technology will be available on GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards, reversing an earlier stance that it would only support the latest 50 series GPUs.

The company made this announcement after modders successfully implemented the technology on older 30 series and even AMD Radeon GPUs, despite Nvidia's initial restrictions.

Nvidia plans to release DLSS 5 for RTX 40 series owners after completing additional optimization work on RTX 50-series GPUs, which currently have exclusive access to the feature.
