Nvidia has announced its RTX Spark-powered laptops and mini PCs will arrive in October, just under a month from now. The devices will be offered in two different configurations.

The top-end spec features an RTX Blackwell GPU with 6144 CUDA cores, equivalent to the RTX 5070, paired with a 20-core Grace CPU and between 24GB and 128GB of unified memory. This configuration is designed for high-end laptops and mini PCs such as Microsoft's Surface RTX Spark Dev Box.

The lower-end spec has a 5120 CUDA core GPU, an 18-core Grace CPU, and between 24GB and 32GB of unified memory. This cut-down version is expected to be used in more conventional laptops from manufacturers like Microsoft, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and MSI.

Nvidia hasn't provided concrete performance figures for these devices, but it claims that RTX Spark can render a 90GB 3D scene, edit 12K-res video, or play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at 100fps at 1440p resolution on battery power. The laptops are expected to have chassis sizes ranging from 14-inch to 16-inch with a lower weight of 3lbs.
