Nvidia Sees 70% Revenue Growth, Eyes Cybersecurity as Next AI Frontier
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang expressed confidence in the company's revenue growth expectations, stating that he is 'confident' in growing revenue by 70% next year. This prediction comes after Nvidia management stunned Wall Street with their forecast of over 100% year-over-year growth if demand were not constrained.
Huang attributed this growth to strong AI compute demand, which he believes will remain well above supply. He also mentioned that Nvidia is gaining share in the data center market as it transitions from selling GPUs to offering a full-stack AI factory system. The upcoming Vera Rubin system, priced at around $40,000, represents a significant increase in cost compared to previous systems like Blackwell and Hopper.
Additionally, Huang highlighted cybersecurity as a key area of growth for AI, citing partnerships with companies such as CrowdStrike and Palantir. He also mentioned physical AI, including robots and autonomous driving, as an area where 'significant progress' is expected in the next two or three years.
