Nvidia Sells RTX 50 Series at MSRP for Quakecon Attendees Only
Nvidia is making its RTX 50 series GPUs available at MSRP prices, but only for those attending Quakecon. The event will take place from August 6th to 9th and feature Nvidia's Founders Edition GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070s for sale at their respective MSRPs.
The current market reality is vastly different, with the cheapest RTX 5090 in the UK costing over £3,000. In contrast, Nvidia's MSRP for this GPU is £1,799. This discrepancy highlights how rare it is for Nvidia to sell its GPUs at their original prices.
Nvidia will be running several competitions at Quakecon and giving away Nvidia GeForce Trading Cards. Skilled gamers may even win a free RTX 50 series GPU, with runners-up receiving other Nvidia swag.
