Nvidia Set to Acquire Hugging Face in $12.9B Deal

Nvidia Corp., a leading developer of graphics processing units (GPUs), is reportedly in advanced talks to acquire AI startup Hugging Face. The deal, if finalized, would value Hugging Face at approximately $13 billion, according to reports.

The two companies have been engaged in serious discussions about the transaction in recent weeks, an unidentified source familiar with the matter told Business Insider and Bloomberg Terminal. A separate report from The Information confirmed that Nvidia had reached an agreement to acquire Hugging Face for a price of $12.9 billion.
