Nvidia Smashes Expectations with Record Revenue and Strong Guidance
Nvidia's (NASDAQ:NVDA) second-quarter fiscal year 2027 financial results exceeded expectations, sending its stock higher. Revenue rose 106% to $96.2 billion, beating internal and analyst projections.
The company's gross margin increased to 75%, while operating income grew 124% to $63.7 billion, with adjusted earnings per share reaching $2.22 - a 120% year-over-year increase.
Nvidia's guidance for the next quarter is also strong, with expected revenue of $108 billion, representing a year-over-year increase of 89.5%. The company attributes this growth to sustained demand from hyperscale customers, including Amazon and Alphabet.
