Nvidia Smashes Q2 Revenue Expectations, But Shares Fall Anyway
Nvidia smashed its quarterly revenue expectations by $4 billion in Q2, posting a total of $96.2 billion.
The company's chief executive, Jensen Huang, said that artificial intelligence has reached an 'inflection point', citing its increasing productivity and profitability.
Huang also guided next quarter's revenue to $108 billion, which again exceeds forecasts.
Nvidia shares fell 1.8% in after-hours trading, despite the strong earnings report, as investors have come to expect such results from the company.
