Nvidia Soars After Q2 Report Exceeds Expectations, Trump Praises 'Incredible Numbers'
Nvidia's Q2 report far exceeded expectations, defying forecasts from critics. The chipmaker saw its revenue more than double to $96.2 billion and forecast a 70% growth in fiscal 2028.
The news sent Nvidia stock soaring nearly 9% on Thursday, marking its best day in over four months. This rally comes despite the company's shares having trailed those of its chip peers.
President Donald Trump praised Nvidia's 'incredible numbers' and congratulated CEO Jensen Huang on the strong Q2 report. Trump has repeatedly weighed in on Nvidia and other major tech companies, pushing them to expand manufacturing and jobs in the U.S.
In a separate post, Trump also praised Micron's $10 billion investment in research labs in the U.S., calling it 'GREAT NEWS!' for the country's position as a leader in AI and advanced computing.
