Nvidia Stands By Ambitious Growth Forecast Amid Relentless Demand
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is standing by his company's ambitious growth forecast for 2027, citing relentless demand and emerging markets as key drivers. Speaking at Goldman Sachs' Communacopia + Technology Conference, Huang emphasized that Nvidia can increase revenue by 70% next year, with the potential to exceed 100% if it can satisfy all available demand.
The company's growth strategy revolves around expanding its presence in data centers and capturing more of every dollar spent on AI computing. Instead of primarily supplying graphics processors, Nvidia is moving into complete AI factory systems that combine hardware and software. This is reflected in the rising prices of successive platforms: the upcoming Vera Rubin system will cost roughly $40,000, compared with about $25,000 for Blackwell and $18,000 for Hopper.
Huang also highlighted cybersecurity as a likely next growth engine for AI, citing Nvidia's partnerships with security companies such as CrowdStrike, Cisco Systems, and Palantir Technologies. Cybersecurity presents a natural expansion opportunity because companies need increasingly powerful systems to detect threats, analyze enormous volumes of activity, and respond to attacks.
