Nvidia Stock Ownership Sky High Among Retail Investors

Nvidia is the largest publicly traded company in the world and remains a popular stock among retail investors.

Ahead of Nvidia's highly anticipated second-quarter financial results, Benzinga asked its viewers about their past and current ownership of the stock.

The poll showed that 45% of viewers have owned Nvidia stock in the past but don't currently own it, while 39% said they currently own shares.

This means that 84% of Benzinga's viewers have owned Nvidia stock at some point. In comparison, only 73% have owned Tesla stock and 64% have owned Apple stock.

Nvidia takes the crown for current stock ownership among Benzinga viewers, with 39% saying they own the stock now, beating out the 23% who owned Apple and the 20% who owned Tesla.
