Nvidia Stock Plunges to New Lows as Cathie Wood Sees Opportunity
Nvidia's stock price has been steadily declining since its mid-May peak, but Cathie Wood thinks it's time to buy.
The company's revenue growth has accelerated for three consecutive quarters, with a recent surge of 85% year-over-year in the fiscal first quarter. This growth is driven by Nvidia's dominance in high-performance GPUs and AI accelerators, which are essential for data centers and enterprise customers.
Despite facing supply chain constraints and regulatory concerns, Wood believes Nvidia is undervalued at its current price. With a forward earnings multiple of 22 and a year-ahead multiple of 15, Nvidia is cheaper than ever before.
The company has also increased its dividend by 25 times and authorized $80 billion in buybacks, further justifying Wood's optimism. However, not all analysts agree, with The Motley Fool Stock Advisor team not including Nvidia in their list of top stocks to buy now.
