Nvidia Stock Price Target Soars to $500 Amid AI Compute Leadership
A five-star analyst at Baird has reaffirmed their bullish stance on Nvidia's stock price. The analyst, Tristan Gerra, sees a massive upside of 126.5% to his $500 price target for NVDA, which is significantly higher than the average analyst target of $328.43.
Gerra's thesis is based on Nvidia's continued leadership in AI compute, despite hyperscalers experimenting with custom chips and TPUs from Google and Amazon. He points to a recent infrastructure win that strengthens his bull case for NVDA.
The key evidence comes from Anthropic, which has agreed to a $35 billion cloud-computing deal with Nvidia-backed Lambda. Gerra estimates that Nvidia has secured roughly twice as much gigawatt capacity at Anthropic as competing compute suppliers, suggesting its position is not dependent on maintaining dominance in training.
Gerra also sees new product catalysts for NVDA beyond its flagship GPUs, including strong demand for the upcoming Groq 3 LPX inference accelerator and the potential of Nvidia's standalone Vera CPU to capture a low-teens percentage share of the AI-server CPU market by 2027.
