Nvidia Stock Soars as AI Growth Prospects Remain Strong
Nvidia's growth prospects are looking bright as the company continues to invest in AI development and launch new, more powerful products.
The stock has already returned 24% year-to-date, outperforming the S&P 500's 14% gain. Wall Street analysts expect revenue to increase 80% this year and 63% next year, but management is guiding for a slightly lower growth rate of 70% in fiscal 2028.
Using these projections, Nvidia's revenue would reach $699.3 billion by the end of 2027, according to Wall Street estimates. At a price-to-sales ratio of 17, this would put the stock's market cap at nearly $11.9 trillion, a 113% increase from today's value.
However, some experts caution that Nvidia's high valuation and potential competition in the AI space may impact its growth prospects. The Motley Fool's Stock Advisor analyst team has identified other stocks as top picks for investors to buy now, with Nvidia not making the list.
