Nvidia's latest earnings report has revealed the chip company made an impressive $96.2 billion in revenue over the past quarter, a significant jump of over $10 billion from the previous quarter.

The majority of this revenue came from its data center business, which more than doubled year-over-year to a record $89 billion.

Nvidia's overall revenue doubled year-over-year, with profits more than doubling to $59.7 billion.

Despite this success, the company acknowledged that it experienced 'slower consumer PC sales' and 'elevated memory and systems prices', which were exacerbated by component shortages.
