Nvidia Surpasses Apple as Largest Holding in S&P 500 ETF
The Vanguard S&P 500 ETF holds $1.05 trillion in assets across its 520 positions, and Nvidia is now its largest holding at 7.50% of assets.
This surpasses Apple's market value by about a full percentage point, with Nvidia growing its revenue 85% year over year to $81.6 billion in its most recent fiscal quarter.
The fund's top five positions add up to nearly 25% of its total assets, with Microsoft at 4.29%, Amazon at 3.61%, and Alphabet at 3.24% for its Class A shares alone.
