Nvidia Talks Valuation Jump with Perplexity Investment
Nvidia is in talks to invest in Perplexity at a valuation of more than $30 billion, just a year after Aravind Srinivas' startup made headlines by offering $34.5 billion for Google's Chrome browser.
The investment would be a significant jump from the roughly $20 billion valuation that Perplexity had last year, representing over 50% growth.
Perplexity has seen its revenue triple this year, driven in part by its cloud-based AI agent, which handles more than 400 million search queries each month. The company is also pushing its own browser, Comet, as a platform for agentic browsing.
