Nvidia Targets 2027 Launch for Next-Gen RTX 60 Series
Nvidia is reportedly aiming for an H1 2027 launch for its next-generation RTX 60 series graphics cards, including the RTX 6090. This information comes from a leak by Moore's Law is Dead, which cites an Nvidia source claiming that the project was greenlit months ago.
The RTX 60 series is expected to be unveiled at either GTC 2027 or Computex 2027, but with current memory shortages, it's hard to believe Nvidia will release a new GPU lineup in 2027. The same struggles that led to the delay of the RTX 50 SUPER series would likely apply to the RTX 60 series.
MegAsizeGPU has called out Moore's Law is Dead's report as 'fake-as-hell', citing Nvidia's supply chain issues and stating that 'MLID always has zero credit on the Nvidia side'. Given current circumstances, an RTX 6090 launch in H1 2027 seems unlikely.
