Nvidia Unveils $500 Billion Financing Playbook to Turbo-Charge AI Infrastructure
Nvidia's massive cash hoard has become its most significant competitive advantage in the chip industry. The company has more than $80 billion in cash and marketable investments, and generated another $50 billion in operating cash flow last quarter.
This wealth gives Nvidia a unique ability to fund AI infrastructure projects that might not otherwise be viable. The company is now using this power to bring in at least $500 billion of outside capital to finance its own AI-powered endeavors.
Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang has said the goal is to address concerns about circular financing and share the risk with partners like Apollo, Blackstone, and Goldman Sachs.
