Nvidia Unveils DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction and Native Anti-Cheat Support at Gamescom

Nvidia has announced several updates and features at Gamescom 2026, including DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, RTX Mega Geometry, and native anti-cheat support for its GeForce Now platform.

The company's DLSS 4.5 technology is now available on all GeForce RTX GPUs and supports 30 titles at launch, including Cyberpunk 2077 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang defended the new DLSS 5 technology against criticism that it adds an AI sheen to character models, saying critics are 'completely wrong' and that DLSS 5 'fuses controllability with generative AI.'

The company also confirmed new publisher support for RTX Spark, its upcoming Windows platform combining DLSS and Reflex with on-device AI agents.
