Nvidia has finally unveiled its RTX Spark chips at IFA 2026, marking a significant development in the world of Windows PCs. The RTX Spark is an Arm-based chip with integrated Blackwell RTX graphics cores and up to 128 GB of unified RAM, designed specifically for high-end local AI workloads.

The announcement comes after years of rumors and speculation surrounding Nvidia's involvement in the Windows on Arm market. In June, Microsoft and Nvidia announced their partnership on the RTX Spark family, which will power a new kind of AI PC.

Gaming, however, remains a significant challenge for Snapdragon X-based PCs. Major games are written for x86 architecture, not Arm, leading to emulation issues. The uncertainty surrounding game compatibility is a major problem for PC gamers.
