NVIDIA's $500B AI Bet Fuels 'Digital Infrastructure Bill' Hype

NVIDIA's $500 billion AI investment partnership has drawn comparison to a 'digital infrastructure bill' by hosts Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings of Earn Your Leisure.

The partnership, which involves Apollo, Blackstone, BlackRock, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR, is seen as a major bet on the future of artificial intelligence.

Bilal framed NVIDIA's investment cycle as akin to a public works program with private balance sheets backing it up. Millings added that institutions are now putting money into AI research, not just hyperscalers.

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang reinforced this framing in his recent conference call, stating that 'AI infrastructure spending is on track to reach 3 to 4 trillion annually by the end of this decade.'
