Nvidia's AI Portfolio Reveals Key Holdings Amid Market Volatility
Nvidia is known for its expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and its portfolio reflects this. The company's public equity holdings include three AI stocks that make up almost 88% of its portfolio: SpaceX, CoreWeave, and Intel.
SpaceX is the largest holding at 33.1%, with a market value of nearly $2 trillion despite being unprofitable. The company's CEO, Elon Musk, believes that within five years, AI will account for the majority of SpaceX's value. However, there are concerns about competition in the field and whether SpaceX can capture a large enough market share.
CoreWeave is another significant holding at 7.4% of Nvidia's portfolio, with a revenue backlog of $104 billion that soared by 245.5% year over year. The company's trailing-12-month revenue is only $7.6 billion, but its price-to-sales ratio of 7.2 seems reasonable given its rapid growth.
Intel makes up the largest portion of Nvidia's portfolio at 47.3%, with a market value that has more than doubled this year. The company is seeing soaring demand for its products thanks to the rise of agentic AI, but some analysts are cautious about its valuation, trading at 80.7x forward earnings.
