Nvidia's DLSS 5 Backlash Creates Opportunity for AMD in GPU Market

Nvidia's recent focus on DLSS 5 has sparked backlash from gamers and developers, potentially creating an opportunity for AMD.

The company's software stack has long been a major selling point for GeForce cards over Radeon, but the introduction of neural rendering in DLSS 5 has met with strong disapproval.

A recent poll by TechPowerUp found that nearly 20,000 voters were against AI altering games, with 58% saying it shouldn't happen at all. Another poll by PC Guide showed similar results.

The economics of graphics memory may also be working in AMD's favor, as the DRAM inflation has pushed high-end GPUs out of reach for many consumers.
