Nvidia's Fiscal 2028 Growth Forecast Shatters Expectations
Nvidia's latest earnings report has sent shockwaves through the financial world, as the company revealed its plans for the next year. In a move that is unusual for companies of this size and stature, Nvidia provided a forecast for its fiscal 2028 growth, which is expected to be a staggering 70% increase over last year.
This growth rate far exceeds what Wall Street analysts were expecting, with estimates ranging from 44% to $574 billion in revenue. However, using a higher fiscal 2027 revenue figure based on Nvidia's current run rate, the implied sales for next year land closer to $700 billion.
What's remarkable about this growth is that it's not just coming from the data center business, but also from other areas such as AI labs, neoclouds, enterprises, and sovereign buyers. In fact, Chief Financial Officer Colette Kress revealed that non-hyperscale clients account for roughly half of Nvidia's data center business.
This growth is all the more impressive given the challenges faced by Nvidia in China. Despite being a significant market, Nvidia has stated that it expects to generate no revenue from China in its forward outlook due to ongoing geopolitical uncertainty.
