Nvidia's reported acquisition of Hugging Face for $12.9 billion is set to bring substantial profits to Kevin Durant, a 15-time NBA All-Star and four-time Olympic gold medalist.

Durant had invested an initial $100,000 in Hugging Face's seed round, with his business partner Rich Klemian adding another $150,000 later on, totaling $250,000. This investment is poised to appreciate significantly due to the acquisition.

According to calculations, Durant's stake will increase by 239 times, reaching over $60 million, making his return on investment higher than his annual salary of $43.9 million as a Houston Rockets player.
