Nvidia's Revenue Doubles as AI Growth Surges
Nvidia's quarterly revenue soared to $96.2 billion, more than doubling from last year, as the AI giant outlined its ambitious plans for global expansion.
The company's data center business generated $89 billion during the quarter, with a significant shift towards AI clouds, industrial customers, enterprises, and sovereign AI initiatives, which accounted for $40.3 billion and surged 138%.
Nvidia's next phase focuses on Vera Rubin, the successor to its Blackwell generation of AI systems, which is expected to deliver 30 times more throughput per megawatt while cutting the cost per AI token by 35 times compared with Blackwell Ultra.
The company is also expanding into specialized inference through Groq 3 LPX and broadening its ambitions in server processors with Vera CPU, which could double in fiscal 2028 and create a roughly $20 billion server CPU opportunity.
