NVTS Surges on Nvidia Partnership
Navitas Semiconductor's shares have surged by over 20% after announcing its collaboration with Nvidia at Computex 2026. The partnership involves Navitas' recently launched power chip being showcased in Nvidia's MGX Ecosystem.
The '800 V-to-6 V DC-DC' power chip is designed to enable efficient power delivery in modern devices, particularly in data centers that require high compute capacity for artificial intelligence workloads.
Nvidia is exhibiting the chip at Computex 2026, and Navitas believes the collaboration will help data center campuses consume electricity more effectively without overheating.
As AI demand continues to scale, power delivery has become a critical challenge in enabling next-generation gigawatt AI factories. Navitas' GaN and SiC power technologies are expected to enable megawatt-scale AI server racks with higher power density, improved thermal performance, and smaller system footprints.
