NYU Langone's Back-to-School Drive Exceeds Fundraising Goal, Supports Brooklyn Families
The annual Back-to-School Backpack Drive by Family Health Centers at NYU Langone was a resounding success, with over 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies distributed to local children and families in Brooklyn.
The event aimed to prepare children for the new school year, and it exceeded its fundraising goal of $128,000, raising more than $138,000. JPMorgan Chase continued its support by matching contributions up to $35,000, while Healthfirst provided essential infrastructure with over a dozen tents and tables.
