Off the Page! Brings Animation to Life at Disney's Hollywood Studios

The Magic of Disney Animation at Disney's Hollywood Studios has introduced a new experience called Off the Page!, where guests can meet and greet with beloved Disney characters. The experience, which officially opened on September 14, features a series of meet and greet spaces inspired by different animation departments.

Each space is designed to resemble an actual animation department, complete with concept art, storyboards, and behind-the-scenes footage from the animation process. Guests can explore the various areas, including Story, Layout, Hand-Drawn Animation, CG Animation, Lighting, and Effects.

The meet and greet spaces are organized in the order of the animation process, starting with Story, where guests can meet Mulan. Next is the Layout department, where Rapunzel is waiting to be met. The Hand-Drawn Animation area features Chip 'n' Dale, while Donald and Daisy can be found in the CG Animation space.

Goofy meets guests in the Lighting department, and Stitch can be found in the Effects area. Each meet and greet space includes interactive elements, such as a giant animation desk with art supplies and a stylus for guests to use. The experience also features a display case of character maquettes and sketches of Disney characters illuminated in a rainbow of colors.
