Ohio Company Sues Woman Over Scathing 1-Star Google Review

Ohio-based Starr Manufacturing Inc. has filed a lawsuit against a woman from Columbus for allegedly leaving a scathing 1-star Google review.

The company claims that the woman's review, published in March, contained malicious, false, and defamatory accusations that have caused 'significant reputational harm' and resulted in expenses exceeding $25,000.

According to the lawsuit, Starr Manufacturing Inc. is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, as well as attorney fees and litigation costs.

The company also expressed concern that the woman will continue to post false allegations on the internet.
