OMERS Administration Corp has significantly increased its stake in Apple Inc., purchasing an additional 523,765 shares during the first quarter. The firm now owns 2,851,506 shares of Apple's stock, accounting for approximately 4.7% of OMERS' portfolio and making it their third largest position.
The total value of OMERS Administration Corp's holdings in Apple is $723,684,000 as of the end of the most recent quarter. This increase in investment marks a 22.5% rise in OMERS' stake in the tech giant.
Other institutional investors have also shown interest in Apple, with JMG Financial Group Ltd. and Reyes Financial Architecture Inc. increasing their holdings in the company during the first quarter.
