Omni Taxi Aéreo Upgrades AW139 Fleet with Advanced Weather Radar

Honeywell Aerospace has upgraded Omni Taxi Aéreo's fleet of AW139 helicopters with its advanced IntuVue RDR-7000 weather radar system. The upgrade covers all 33 aircraft in the fleet, highlighting Omni's commitment to safety and operational reliability.

The IntuVue RDR-7000 provides pilots with earlier and clearer warnings of hazardous weather conditions, including turbulence, hail, lightning, and wind shear. This is achieved through continuous atmospheric scanning and real-time picture-building along the flight path.

Independent testing has shown that the system can predict turbulence with up to 93% accuracy, reducing the likelihood of a turbulence-related incident by more than half.
