Oppenheimer & Co. Boosts Stake in Amgen Inc.

Amgen Inc., the global biotechnology company, has seen its shares purchased by Oppenheimer & Co. Inc.

The institutional investor boosted its stake in Amgen's stock by 2.8% in the second quarter, according to a recent disclosure with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. acquired an additional 3,376 shares of Amgen during the quarter, bringing its total holdings to 123,217 shares valued at $44,619,000.

This is not the only significant investment in Amgen; other large investors such as Adell Harriman & Carpenter Inc., Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking S.P.A., and National Pension Service have also increased their stakes in the company.
