The investment firm Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. has increased its stake in Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google, by 3.9% during the second quarter.

According to a recent Form 13F filing with the SEC, Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. now owns 454,292 shares of Alphabet's stock, which is worth $162,350,000.

This represents about 1.7% of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc.'s portfolio and makes Alphabet its 8th largest position.

Alphabet reported a profit of $9.11 per share for the quarter, exceeding analysts' expectations by $6.22.
