Outlook and ChatGPT Services Experience Widespread Disruptions
A widespread disruption to Microsoft's Outlook email service left thousands of users unable to access key features on Monday, according to reports compiled by Downdetector. Nearly 6,000 users reported an outage for Outlook, with those affected stating they were unable to open, search, or send emails through the service.
Microsoft provided an update on their status from X, stating that they are 'continuing to fine-tune our remediation strategy as our internal tests progress.' The outage began in late morning, with the first status update being reported at 12 p.m. EST.
ChatGPT Work is also experiencing a partial outage, affecting users across multiple subscription plans. OpenAI confirmed on their status page that they are working to resolve the issue.
