P&G Appoints Shailesh Jejurikar as Chairman, Bolstering Leadership Ranks
Procter & Gamble (P&G) has strengthened its leadership by appointing Shailesh Jejurikar as Chairman of its Board of Directors, effective August 1, 2026. This move marks a significant milestone in the company's leadership journey and reinforces the growing influence of Indian-origin executives on the global corporate stage.
Jejurikar has spent over three decades leading businesses across North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa during his tenure at P&G, which began in 1989 as an Assistant Brand Manager in India. He has held several leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and CEO of the company's Fabric & Home Care business.
In a statement, Jejurikar expressed gratitude to Jon for his years of service to the company and praised his strategic vision, which he believes has been instrumental in shaping P&G into what it is today.
