P&G Buys Thorne for $3.8 Billion in Wellness Expansion
Procter & Gamble (P&G) is expanding its personal health care portfolio by acquiring supplements company Thorne for $3.8 billion.
The deal, announced on Tuesday, aims to strengthen P&G's wellness offering and position it as a leader in the premium wellness market.
Thorne was founded in 1984 and has earned a reputation for its science-backed approach to health care.
P&G's CEO Shailesh Jejurikar said that Thorne is a 'really well-run operation' and that the company is happy with the asset itself.
