P&G Buys Thorne for $3.8 Billion Wellness Push
Procter & Gamble is expanding its presence in the wellness market by acquiring supplement maker Thorne for $3.8 billion.
The acquisition will strengthen P&G's health and wellness business, which includes brands such as Metamucil, Align Probiotic, and New Chapter alongside healthcare brands like Oral-B and Vicks.
Thorne, founded in 1984, has seen significant growth in recent years, with annual revenue exceeding $500 million in 2025. The company's CEO, Colin Watts, has predicted it could become a billion-dollar brand within the next few years.
P&G CEO Shailesh Jejurikar said Thorne is 'a really well-run operation' and that the company was impressed by its business and long-term performance.
