P&G Buys Thorne for $3.8B Wellness Push

Procter & Gamble (PG) has agreed to purchase Thorne for $3.8 billion, according to CEO Shailesh Jejurikar's statement on CNBC.

Thorne is a premium wellness and supplements brand that will give P&G a foothold in the fast-growing market of health and wellness products.

The acquisition comes as part of P&G's strategy to tap into emerging trends and expand its portfolio of consumer goods brands.
