The sale was made to cover taxes related to a stock award, the filing stated. Following this transaction, Mr. Schulten directly holds 62,975.0097 shares of Procter & Gamble common stock, and indirectly holds 7,535.1091 shares through a retirement plan trustee.

The sale comes as analysts have been evaluating Procter & Gamble's performance. Bernstein has raised its price target to $149.00, citing the company's significant marketing investments, while RBC Capital reiterated its Outperform rating with a price target of $167.00. However, Argus downgraded the stock from Buy to Hold due to underperformance and slower growth prospects.
