P&G Cuts 4300 Jobs Amid Restructuring Plan

Procter & Gamble has initiated a two-year restructuring plan aimed at eliminating up to 7,000 non-manufacturing positions by June 2027. Since last summer, the company has cut 4,300 jobs globally as part of this plan.

The cuts have raised concerns about their impact on Cincinnati families and the local economy. Procter & Gamble is headquartered in Cincinnati and still employs over 10,000 white-collar workers in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Darrin Wilson, an associate professor at Northern Kentucky University, believes that if office jobs are being cut, Cincinnati will take the brunt of it. However, if sales, branding, and marketing restructuring is involved, the impact might be less severe locally.
