P&G Expands Disaster Relief Efforts with Mobile Laundry and Shower Units
Procter & Gamble's (P&G) commitment to disaster relief has been ongoing for over a century. After witnessing devastating floods in its hometown of Cincinnati in the early 1900s, P&G began providing essential products and services to affected communities.
The company's partnership with Matthew 25: Ministries started in 2012, focusing on providing mobile laundry units through their Tide Loads of Hope program. Since 2005, this initiative has completed over 100,000 loads of laundry for families and first responders impacted by disasters, all at no cost.
Recently, Walmart joined the collaboration, adding mobile shower and bathroom units to the disaster relief fleet. The expansion includes seven new combined shower-and-laundry trailers, as well as two restroom-only units strategically positioned across the country.
