P&G Hygiene Remains Confident of Long-Term Growth Amid Evolving Market
Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd (PGHHL) has released its annual report for FY26, stating that despite a rapidly evolving operating environment, the company remains confident in delivering long-term growth. The firm reported revenue of ₹4,290 crore and Profit After Tax (PAT) increased 19% to ₹857 crore.
The Managing Director, Kumar Venkatasubramanian, addressed shareholders saying, 'The year ahead might continue to be challenging. However, we remain as confident as ever in our integrated growth strategy and in our ability to drive market growth and to deliver balanced growth and value creation to delight consumers, customers, employees, society and shareowners.'
The company operates in feminine care and healthcare with brands such as Whisper and Vicks, and noted that consumption trends in the Indian FMCG sector continue to evolve. Rural demand remains higher than urban consumption, although showing signs of softening amid an uptick in inflation.
P&G Hygiene expects challenges to persist in FY27 but remains confident in its growth strategy backed by disciplined execution and continued investments in innovation, brand building, and go-to-market capabilities.
