P&G's Fabric & Home Care Business Shows Mixed Trends
The Procter & Gamble Company's Fabric & Home Care business is showing mixed trends. In the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, Fabric Care was among the categories that were in line to grow in the low single digits, while Home Care declined.
This divergence limited the segment's contribution at a time when P&G's overall organic sales were flat year over year.
The pressure is evident in Europe, where management said competition in Fabric Care has increased and restoring competitiveness remains a priority. However, there are signs of improvement: an inflection in U.S. Fabric Care and momentum continuing to build.
China also returned to share growth in Fabric Care, supporting a more constructive outlook across markets.
