P&G's Swiffer Hair Magnet: A Key Component in the Company's Innovation-Led Branding Strategy
Procter & Gamble (PG) has launched the Swiffer Hair Magnet, a floor-cleaning tool that uses 3D fluffy fibers and a 360-degree swivel head to capture hair, dust, and debris in hard-to-reach areas.
The product is part of P&G's innovation-focused investment narrative, which emphasizes steady demand for everyday essentials, backed by incremental product innovation and strong brands.
According to the company's projections, revenue will reach $95.0 billion by 2029 with a yearly growth rate of 3.1%, while earnings are expected to increase by $1.9 billion from $16.3 billion today.
The Swiffer Hair Magnet partnership with hair expert Jen Atkin is one of several new product rollouts, including Braun NEVO and Mr. Clean PRO, that aim to offset external risks such as tariffs on raw and packaging materials sourced from China.
