Paratroopers Recognized for Contributions to Special Operations
On September 11th at Fort Gillem in Georgia, a ceremony was held to honor three members of the 310th Psychological Operations Company.
The event recognized paratroopers and special operators who have made significant contributions to their work. First Sergeant Jonathan Merck explained that this award is through the National Infantry Association, specifically from Fort Benning.
Corporal Booker Pitts was awarded the Cherubim level of the Order of St. Michael, while Staff Sergeant Blake Nauert received the Angelic Award. Additionally, First Sergeant Merck himself was awarded the St. Michael Medal.
The Order of Saint Michael is given to individuals for their contributions in Airborne, Air Assault, and Special Operations status.
