Parvin Asset Management LLC has acquired a new position in Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ:AMGN) worth $2,035,000.

The institutional investor purchased 5,619 shares of the medical research company's stock during the second quarter, accounting for approximately 1.6% of Parvin Asset Management LLC's investment portfolio.

This is not an isolated instance, as a number of other hedge funds also recently added to or reduced their stakes in AMGN.
