Perspective Therapeutics Partners with Merck on Cancer Trial Collaboration
Perspective Therapeutics Inc., a radiopharmaceutical development company, has partnered with Merck on a clinical trial collaboration to evaluate the combination of Perspective's targeted alpha-particle therapy [212Pb]PSV359 and Merck's Keytruda (pembrolizumab) in patients with non-small cell lung cancer and colorectal cancer.
The study, registered under clinicaltrials.gov identifier NCT06710756, has already completed enrollment in the first three monotherapy dose cohorts. Perspective is sponsoring the study, while Merck is providing pembrolizumab at no cost.
The primary objective of the dose finding phase is to assess the safety and tolerability of various doses of [212Pb]PSV359 to determine the recommended Phase 2 dose for the expansion phase. PSV359 was designed to target and deliver 212Pb to tumor sites expressing FAP-α, a protein associated with multiple solid tumors.
