Perspective Therapeutics Teams Up with Merck on Groundbreaking Cancer Treatment Collaboration

Perspective Therapeutics has announced a significant collaboration with Merck to evaluate its targeted alpha-particle therapy [212Pb]PSV359 in combination with Keytruda in FAP-α-positive solid tumors.

The trial, which will be conducted under an amendment to an ongoing Phase 1/2a trial, aims to test the safety and efficacy of pairing a novel radiopharmaceutical with a well-established immune checkpoint inhibitor.

By combining a targeted radiation therapy with an immune system stimulator, Perspective Therapeutics hopes to enhance outcomes in historically hard-to-treat cancers, such as non-small cell lung and colorectal cancer.

The collaboration positions Perspective Therapeutics to lead the emerging theranostic and radiopharmaceutical oncology market, where treatments are increasingly personalized to individual patients' needs.
