Perugia Unleashes Transfer Frenzy as Striker Conundrum Lingers
Perugia has undergone a significant transformation in less than a week, starting from the bench and extending to their attacking lineup. Christian Langella, a midfielder born in 2000, has joined the club after leaving Entella's Serie B project. He will be available for selection immediately tomorrow.
Cisco, a 1998-born player who previously played for Brescia, is also expected to sign on Monday, returning to Perugia a year after his previous stint. The arrival of goalkeeper Radoslaw Dominik Zelezny, owned by Roma and aged 20, will complete the trio of signings tomorrow.
The club has made nine arrivals in the last week, with Borsoi joining before a preliminary agreement was signed. In goal, Zelezny is expected to feature alongside Angeli and Papazov, who have arrived as defenders. Quirini, Cisco, and Borsoi will take up positions on the outside flanks of the 3-5-2 formation.
Perugia's main concern remains finding strikers, with two targets reportedly in sight but at a high cost, including a transfer fee of over half a million euros for Giacomo Parigi. Massimo Coda's wage demands may further complicate matters. The club is unlikely to finalize deals soon.
